Meet the Teachers
In Year 2, Willow and Beech are guided by Miss Williams, Mrs Jones and Miss Gooding. All adults are passionate about helping children build on their early skills, develop their independence and grow into confident learners. Classrooms are filled with laughter, exploration and plenty of encouragement to try new things, using a variety of different resources to support them.

Welcome to Year 2
Year 2 is an exciting year where children build on their foundations from Year 1 and become more independent in their learning. The children enjoy a rich and varied curriculum with lots of opportunities for hands-on experiences. Here, you can find the curriculum overviews and timetables for each class.

Some of the things we will learn about are:

• Nurses through time
• Castles
• Animals and their habitats 
• Kenya 
• Continents and Oceans
• Moving mechanisms 
• Quick recall of the 2, 5 and 10 times tables (starting in Spring term) 

We all enjoy being in Year 2 and look forward to an exciting year ahead.
