School Council

At Ramsey Manor Lower School our pupils have an important role to play in issues that affect the children themselves. We value the opinions and suggestions made by pupils and encourage them to be responsible members of our school community. Two representatives from each class are chosen by their peers to represent them.

The School Council discusses ideas and suggestions to make the school a better place. Minutes are taken of the meetings and these are shared with a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

The School Council act as a voice for all of the children in school and they have collected some ideas from their friends in their classes.

The children have been learning how to run an effective meeting with councillors taking on different roles in each meeting such as: chairperson or secretary.
